Drone Nationals will feature the top pilots around the country. Here’s a peak at the 6 Freestyle Pilots AirVuz will be featuring during the ESPN live stream. California’s Tommy Tibajia, pilot name Ummagawd, is part of the infamous Rotor Riot crew. The former DJ says creativity and freedom are what inspire him more than anything. Zoe Stumbaugh, aka Zoe FPV, hails from Santa Cruz, California. The Queen of 3 Dimensional flight says she picked up flying after complications from surgery kept her away from her first passion, riding motorcycles. Former BMXer and model Phil Freybot is one of the renowned Atlanta crew members. The sarcastic German is known for his mad editing skills. Johnny Schaer, pilot name Johnny FPV, is one of the younger pilots in the game. But don’t let his age fool you, this Chicago Native’s got mad skills and is determined to make his passion more than just a hobby. Commercial Airline Pilot Kevin Dougherty, aka StingersSwarm, hails from the hotbed of Freestyle, Atlanta Georgia. Like the rest of his crew, he’s not afraid to laugh at himself and he’ll show you the video if he catches his bloopers on camera. Fellow Atlanta flier Jonathan Davis, aka Skitzo FPV, heard about FPV flying through other pilot’s videos online.
